Mexican food

Mexican cuisine is a fusion of traditional Mexican food with Spanish, Caribbean and Asian influences. It's most popular dishes are tacos, burritos, tamales, enchiladas and fajitas. These dishes have been adapted to suit the taste of many people from all over the world. In this blog post, we explore some seafood recipes that you might not be familiar with but will love!
– Tacos de Pescado or fish tacos are popular street food in Mexico. The tortillas are typically made of corn but you can use flour if that’s what you prefer. Fish is seasoned with spices and then fried to perfection before it is served on the taco together with fresh vegetables like onion, tomato, and coriander.
– Ceviche is a dish where the seafood is marinated with lemon or lime juice. The acid in the citrus helps to soften and ‘cook’ the fish while retaining its texture, color, and flavor. It’s typically made of shrimp but you can also use other types of white fleshy fish like halibut or cod for this dish.
– Tostadas de Camarones or shrimp tostadas are fried tortillas topped with seasoned and marinated shrimps, lettuce, cheese, and avocado slices. It’s a simple but very delicious recipe that is perfect for the summer months!
